Winners circle:
Giuseppe Farina wins the 1950 British Grand Prix with his Alfa Romeo 158. This was the first World Championship Formula One race held, which drew 200.000 spectators including the Royal family.
The race saw many privateers, including a Thai prince, a Swiss baron and jazz musician, race along side upcoming drivers like Juan Manuel Fangio.
