This American Bob Gregg racing team BMW M1 started as a group 5 car. BMW delayed the group 5 engine several times so they resorted to switching to a big block Chevy as the M1 was underpowered. Then Group 5 went away and they did this to it and ran as a prototype. The car never really worked in any form.
