Mike Hawthorne in a Jaguar D-Type followed by the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR, driven by Stirling Moss or Juan Manuel Fangio, at Le Mans in 1955. Mr. Hawthorne and his teammate Ivor Bueb won the 1955 24 Heures du Mans.
