Nigel Mansell passed teammate Nelson Piquet, driving Williams FW11B:s, with three laps to go at Silverstone during the 1987 British Grand Prix. Shortly after he crossed the line, his engine blew up after having run it in Q-mode which gave the car some extra +100hp, but put the car under enormous stress.
